PORTFOLIO

ARCHITECT. INNOVATOR. ARTIST. 2025

MADRASA OF DREAMS
This concept of a contemporary madrasa fuses Qur’anic study with studios for science, design, and technology, functioning as an Islamic liberal arts campus articulated through cloistered courts, enfilade corridors, and cellular seminar rooms.

About

Ananya Naik studies cities through their intimate details, façades that whisper stories, joints that hold histories, materials that reveal quiet intention. An architectural designer at the University of San Francisco, pursuing her Bachelor of Architecture with a minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (expected May 2026), she channels this gaze into urban rehabilitation and interior work that mends what design too often neglects: equity gaps, fractured systems, overlooked lives.

With precise analysis, seamless coordination, and vivid visualization, Ananya steers projects toward spaces alive with clarity, dignity, purpose.

Her internships: from crafting interior concepts for Bahrain's community hubs at the startup: China Home Building Materials, to advancing slum rehabilitation in India's Ruparel Realty, to client visions at Watercolor Interiors, have sharpened her in cross-cultural, user-first design. As Co-President and Co-founder of USFCA's S.T.A.R.T. club, she ignites innovation, mentors entrepreneurs, and orchestrates events fusing architecture with enterprise. Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and bolstered by USF event leadership plus AIA23 volunteering; Ananya stands poised to reshape neglected corners into thriving, equitable worlds.

"I believe architecture moves forward when we honor its past, study its details, and reshape its future with intention. That is the direction I design in."

— ANANYA NAIK

My Journey

SO FAR

Designing with grace, I begin with thoughts and end with creations. At the age of three, I held my first paintbrush, eager to make my mark with a single stroke on canvas.
What started as a fascination with color soon grew into capturing reality through a camera lens, and eventually, into redefining it through design. Architecture became my way of shaping a brighter future, one that reflects both imagination and purpose.  Through my Personal work, I aim to give back to the community that continues to inspire and fulfill me: the world of architecture.
